Getting here from Bal Harbour
Ninety Sixth Street west through Bay Harbor Islands and over the Broad Causeway, then north on Biscayne Boulevard and west at NE 135th Street to NE 18th Avenue.
Bal Harbour is a short run of Collins Avenue between Surfside and Haulover Cut, mostly oceanfront towers and the Shops, and almost everything in the village is within walking distance of everything else. Owners here often keep more than one address, spending part of the year on the ocean and the rest in New York, Europe or South America. The car that makes sense for a Bal Harbour winter tends to sit still the rest of the year, and shipping it back and forth twice a season is its own project.
